Slatted Teak Soap Dish
$25.00 USD
This teak dish is slatted so water runs off and air reaches the bottom of the bar. That matters more for how long a soap lasts than anything about the soap itself. Teak holds up in a wet room because its own oils keep it from warping or turning black at the ends.
- Water drains away, so the bar dries between uses
- Teak resists bathroom moisture
- Slats spaced wide enough to clear easily

Materials
Solid teak, lightly oiled, with 8mm gaps between slats. Teak contains natural oils, which is why it is used on boat decks and why it does not need a coating that will flake off in a damp room.
Care
Rinse it now and then and let it air dry. If it looks grey after a year or two, rubbing in a little wood oil brings the colour back in a minute.
